The Scots Kirk, Paris
THE SCOTS KIRK PARIS 17 rue Bayard 75008 Paris Metro: Franklin D Roosevelt or Champs-Elysees Clemenceau
MINISTER: REV ALAN MILLER
You are invited to The Scots Kirk Paris Sunday Service at 11h00. Worship is in the Reformed tradition. Tea and coffee is served after the service. The Scots Kirk is a small, welcoming congregation, not just of Scots, but of all nationalities. THE SCOTS KIRK YOUNG CHURCH (SUNDAY SCHOOL) is where the children go up to the hall after the children's hymn for their own time of worship, learning and craft activities. All children are made welcome! THE SCOTS KIRK OUTREACH PROJECT accepts gifts of non-perishable food and toiletries for the hostel for homeless men run by the Missionaires de la Charite. THE FAIR TRADE STALL, open every Sunday after the service, is presently helping fund a DORCAS PROJECT for AIDS-AFFLICTED ORPHANIS IN MALAWI. POT LUCK LUNCHES are held on the last Sunday of the month. HOLY COMMUNION takes place on the first Sunday of each month.
THE SCOTS KIRK PARIS has at its disposal a beautiful grand piano, graciously loaned and there is an independent, on-going and varied programme of MUSIC CONCERTS given by celebrated international performers. Details of these concerts can be found under the Music section of Expatica's Classifieds section or by keying-in 'Scots Kirk' into the search box at the top of the pages.
