Enjoy a three night break with both passengers enjoying an intensive 2 ½ hour microlighting training course on Saturday and Sunday mornings and staying at the "Aeropole Gap Tallard" in self-catering studios/apartments. Training will be carried out on the new Pegasus Quik GT450 machines by full time flying instructors at the Gap Tallard airfield (nearest airport Marseille). Your afternoons will then be left free to explore (or use the on-site swimming pool or free bicycle hire) or relax.
Microlighting perfectly captures the spirit of early aviation - pioneering, thrilling and a touch eccentric. These quirky little aircraft, with their panoramic views from the cockpit, are ideal for capturing the beautiful views of the South of France. Our instructors will give you a thorough briefing and then take you on your lesson. We are sure you will end up as enthusiastic as they are! You will be given a detailed briefing from your instructor, which includes how to use dual controls, how to enter the aircraft and pre-take off checks. You then take to the skies.
Accommodation is at the Residenciel. The Residenciel is located fifty yards from the hangar where the flying is based and offers studio accommodation with kitchen and lounge areas. There is a swimming pool, a volleyball pitch, a barbeque and pizza oven and breakfast is available on request. Tallard is a ten minute walk offering shops, restaurants, cafes and bars.
